Jesus exhorts us In his sermon on the mount, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about Itself. Each day has enough trouble of Its own." Many people fail because they do not follow this wise advise. "This Is the day that the Lord has made. Let us be glad and rejoice in It."
And we are not alone. Christ loves us, Christ gave his life for us, brethren and sisters we need to hold on to each other for support along the way. As Paul said ãI can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengtheneth me.ä We walk In faith, not In trusting In our own strength, but resting on the everlasting arms of our heavenly Father.
Do not fear tomorrow. If we live another day, we will face It when It comes. This Is the day to serve the Lord. This Is the day to get up and get moving up the stairs to the kingdom, one step at a time. Don't look up the thousands of steps ahead. Watch your footing and take the next step and then the next. Before you know It, you will have climbed a along way up the top. How many steps are before us as we face the year.
